Munich - Salzburg - Alps - Zell am See / Zeller Lake - Venice - Split - Dalmatian Adriatic Coast & Islands - Vienna - Budapest

 

DETAILED ITINERARY:

 

Central Europe “Alps-Lakes-Oceans-Cities Tour” (recommended for 3-4+ weeks): combining the most memorable experiences of nature, sports, outdoors, architecture, history, culture and culinary, which Europe has to offer.

 

Fly into Munich, rent a German luxury car, drive down the Autobahn to Salzburg (2 hrs) discover enchanting history, culture and the settings of the “Sound of Music”. Continue on to Zell am See (2 hrs) and choose Chalet Amadeus or Schmitten:35 as your alpine headquarter to take trips, hikes and sports activities and discover pittoresque alpine lakes, snow-capped glaciers, lush forests, alpine culinary highlights, winding alpine roads. Continue over alpine passes on to Trieste (5 hrs) and then on to Venice (3 hrs). After a few days, cross the Adriatic Sea on a comfortable fast ferry straight to Split Croatia (7 hrs), and continue your drive along breathtaking adriatic coastal roads. Book Villa Sunset as your adriatice headquarter, overlooking the Dalmation islands. Take day-trips to Dubrovnik (2 hrs), mountains and beaches, or rent a yacht or speed boat to take trips to the Hvar, Brac (1 hr), crystal clear coves and amazing waterfront dining. Drive north to Vienna (7 hrs) and immerse yourself in history, arts, cafés, museums, classical performances, society balls and grand architecture. Take a daytrip to Bratislava (1 hr), Budapest (3 hrs) or Prague (4 hrs), or back to Munich (5 hrs).
